Valley International Airport is a CAT II airport with about 500,000 enplanements a year that is centrally located in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. It is the home to Southwest Airlines and Continental as well as major cargo operators such as DHL, FEDEX and UPS. Valley International has the longest runways in the region and is designated as a primary diversion airport for major air carriers.
