NIS is a fully independent telecommunications and security consulting and design firm. Established in Portland, Oregon in 1986, NIS helps clients select and implement the best systems and products to meet their current and future technology, communications and security needs.

For over 30 years, the mission of NIS has been to deliver strategic business solutions through the best use of communication technologies and related services. This total approach affords great insight into the unique integration challenges that can result from multiple interdependent technology applications.

As a longstanding and active member of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), the organization group that writes national telecommunication standards, we are very familiar with the current standards and the ongoing work that occurs to keep them current. We bring this knowledge and expertise to each of our projects.

But, it all starts by listening to you. Asking you the right questions. Learning what's working well for your business, and where you need improvements. That's what we call, collaborative consultation.
