Your Local Motor Group is a relatively new, dynamic and evolving Tasmanian automotive company which employees over 300 Tasmanians, at eight automotive dealership sites, in three cities with 13 franchises. Those dealerships include:

• Hobart, Launceston, Burnie & Devonport Mazda
• Economy Cars
• Launceston BMW
• Launceston Honda (incorporating Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge & Fiat) and
• Launceston Toyota & Audi Centre Launceston

The business was originally established in 2010 as Launceston Toyota and Audi Centre Launceston, employing 65 employees at our Kings Meadows dealership. Wanting to build on the proud history of Launceston Toyota, but also wanting to move forward into a new era to bring our customers more brand choice and the latest technology, grow our market share and utilise knowledgeable, capable staff, Launceston Toyota has since made a number of complimentary automotive business acquisitions. These commercial ventures doubled the business portfolio and increased the total number of employees to 215 FTE's.
