PropostaVini is a company that specializes in providing its business clients with special Italian wines and traditions that are the result of a 35 years-long research. Our Catalog is a fascinating journey through the extraordinary Italian biodiversity.
Italy is by a long shot the single country with the most vineyard-related biodiversity in the world, favored by the geographical position, which over the millennia has allowed the vine to adapt to the different climatic and geographical conditions of each region by developing peculiar genetic characteristics. Italy's vineyards are home to more than 2,000 grape varieties, many of which are on the brink of extinction.
Since 1984, when Gianpaolo Girardi established Proposta Vini, we have been seeking for small family wine producers and selecting those wines that most represent, protect and enhance the biodiversity of the whole viticulture ecosystem, our viticulture heritage. For the last 35 years, we have been constantly exploring and sourcing more quality products to add to our collection, and we are today one of Italy's largest wholesale fine wine merchant.
At PropostaVini, we love telling the fascinating stories of unique winemakers, that make it authentic. Within the catalog, one of the widest of the sector, you can choose among more than 140 different winemakers, more than 2000 different labels, representing the totality of the 20 administrative regions in which Italy is divided.
