Tervise ja Heaolu Infosüsteemid Keskus (TEHIK) on 1. jaanuaril 2017 ellu kutsutud Sotsiaalministeeriumi haldusala IKT kompetentsikeskus, mis arendab ja haldab IKT teenuseid tervise-, sotsiaal- ja töövaldkonnas. TEHIKu otsesed kliendid on Sotsiaalkindlustusamet, Terviseamet, Astangu Kutserehabilitatsiooni Keskus, Ravimiamet, Tööinspektsioon. Laiemalt on meie kliendid kohalikud omavalitsused, tervishoiuteenuste osutajad, Tervisekassa ja Töötukassa. Näiteks arendame me tervishoiusektorile digiregistratuuri, e-konsultatsiooni, e-laboratooriumi, digiretsepti (vaata lisa https://www.tehik.ee/tervis/infomaterjalid/), sotsiaalvaldkonnale sotsiaalkaitse Infosüsteemi SKAIS ning sotsiaalteenuste ja –toetuste andmereregistrit STAR. Usume, et meie töö hoiab kokku inimeste aega. Nad saavad keskenduda olulisele ja olla seeläbi õnnelikumad. Selleks loome nii inimesekeskseid IKT teenuseid, et ükski inimene ei tunne, et ta kulutab riigiga suhtlemisel tarbetult aega. Seda nii töö-, tervise- kui ka sotsiaalvaldkonnas.

Health and Welfare Information System Center (HWISC) is an ICT competence centre which started operation on the 1st of January, 2017 and consolidates the functions of former ICT department of ministry of Social Affairs and Estonia and Estonian eHealth foundation.
HWISC ensures the operation of ICT services for the Social Insurance Board, Health Board, Labour Inspectorate, Astangu Vocational Rehablitation Centre and Agency of Medicines. Among our clients are also healthcare providers, local goverment, Estonian Health Insurance Fund, Estonian Unemployment Fund, Official Mediators Office and Gender Equality and Equal Treatment Commissioners Agency. For healthcare we develop e-referral, e-lab, e-prescription, Patient Summary (see also https://www.tehik.ee/tervis/infomaterjalid/), for social system Registry of Social Services and Benefits (STAR) and Registsry of Social Protection (SKAIS). Our missioon is to provide human-based and cross-integrated ICT services.
