O.M.I. s.r.l. was founded in 1989 and for more than a decade has supplied the major industrial firms in the field of compressed air and industrial refrigeration with the most advanced and innovative technological solutions.

The main headquarters of the company is located in Fogliano Redipuglia (Gorizia, Italy) and a second plant is situated in Logatec (Slovenia). In the field of compressed air and refrigeration, OMI is currently able to offer what is undisputedly one of the most complete and varied product ranges on the market.

Our very accurate research and design permit us to produce cutting-edge technology known for its innovation, quality, reliability and environmental sensitivity. To that end products have been created which in addition to using ecological gases (R513a, R452A and R407c ) have been entirely built with low-environmental-impact and recyclable materials.

Over the years and with the expansion of the R&D department, the company has developed a series of new products covered by patented solutions. In 1995 OMI was the first European firm to achieve 87/404/CEE certification on its pressurised containers, which was followed by all other major certification on the market today, including 2006/42/CE, 97/23/CE (PED), ISO9001:2015, ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018.
In October 2007, OMI became part of the Ingersoll Rand Company.
