BUTAN PLIN, PLC, has been present in the Slovenian market for over 140 years as one of the leading suppliers of energy. Over the years the company's core business of liquid petroleum gas distribution has been increasingly extending also to the area of alternative and hybrid energy solutions that provide savings to all its users.

In 1997 Butan plin joined forces with the SHV holding, the largest distributor of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and has ever since continued to fulfil the role as one of strategically most important player amidst global energy flows. This enables the company to meet the challenges of instable markets and the growing tendency of energy efficiency and safety.
