About
Monument is a rapidly growing community situated between Denver and Colorado Springs on the I-25 corridor. Residents enjoy recreational hiking and biking trails, fishing and other outdoor amenities.
Once home to potato farming and ice harvesting, the town has grown to a community filled with small businesses, convenient retail centers, excellent schools, art and history.
Monument enjoys unique galleries and boutiques, restaurants and business offices. During the holiday season the area is a favorite stop for locals and tourists to enjoy celebrations such as Small Town Christmas and arts and craft fairs. Summer finds the town filled with beautiful flowers, Art Hop events, a huge 4th of July Celebration, Concerts in the Park and several family summer activities.
