Practicing the primitive art of wood fire cooking, with Ionian inspired dishes bringing the regional warmth in a family style, plate- sharing setting, Vezené aims to prepare food motivated with personal style focusing primarily on local sustainable seafood and whole animal butchery. Chef -patron Ari Vezené combines old and new culinary techniques and uses seasonal, handpicked ingredients at the prime of their attractiveness, that cover basically the Hellenic terroir but also flirting with Europe and the rest of the world. Secluded from city noise, while centrally located on the outskirts of posh Kolonaki district, Vezené enjoys picturesque views of the Lycabettus hill. It is opposite the Hilton hotel, 3 minutes walking distance from the Evangelismos Metro Station, overlooking the century old urban gardens of Madrid Park. Dressed in wood and leather, the space is designed with primary objective to create a crystal clear identity of informal, unpretentious and unobtrusive elegance. It features an indoor dining room and an outdoor all-glass terrace staged on top of a secret under glass greenhouse.
