Founded in 1984, Harlan Estate is a winegrowing estate in the western hills of Oakville, California in the heart of the Napa Valley.
From the beginning, the Harlan Estate was conceived as a "First Growth of California." And yet, the vision of the Harlan family and team transcended the bounds of vineyard and the cellar: Founder H. William Harlan dreamed of one day elevating the human spirit through the medium of wine. Historically, art has played an essential role in humanity's enrichment, and the family and extended family consider their endeavor in wine as an "art of man and nature." Fine wine provides a common language that stirs the emotions and captivates the intellect; wine can transport us to another place and time.
