About
The Higher Council for Environment is the ministerial cabinet of the Government of Kharoum state responsible for environmental protection and sustainable development of the state's natural resources. The Higher Council for Environment was formed to be the coordinating body between ministries and various executive bodies at state levels with regard to managing environmental affairs and sustainable use of natural resources under the chairmanship of the Khartoum's Governer. The main responsibility of the Council is to prepare policies, legislation and strategic planning to preserve and achieve sustainable development of the state's resources.
