Araluen Botanic Park features 59ha of native and exotic plant species located in the Darling Scarp at Roleystone, 35km SE of Perth. It is culturally significant and heritage listed with unique geographical features providing a cooler microclimate and globally recognised botanic collections such as its Camellias, some of which stand 90years old. The experience includes seasonal events such as the renowned annual Tulip festival. The grounds become a site to behold as over 150,000 bulbs come into bloom every spring to awaken visitors after the Perth winters. We host varied events and there is over eight locations a available for private hire. It's popular for outdoor garden weddings during g late spring and early autumn for to the incredible photography opportunities.

With more than twelve lush green lawns it's idyllic next to the flowing creek for family or romantic picnics.

The Contour Board walk is an easy walk along 200mtr Jarrah boardwalk that spans the western wall of the Park. It sits above and adjacent to Stinton Creek overlooking the Roundhouse stone building and has a Birds Eye view of the concourse across to the Grove of the Unforgotten. With more than 30 structures including the Jarrah Log Cabin Chalet Healy restaurant. There is three majestic timber and stone pergolas with 90 year old wisteria vines that create a magical feel for visitors. The old
Swimming pool and grassed amphitheatre spaces are a haven for prolific birdlife. Set inside a Marri Wooded valley with the sound of nature, every day is as pretty as a living picture.
