About
BIDO was started by a group of young development professionals in the year 2000 when working in various capacities as development workers in one of the poorest districts of the northern region (Tolon-Kumbungu district), and having been confronted with the vastness, depravation and under-development of the district. In consultation with some natives of the district, they decided to form a district-based NGO with the view to concentrating all efforts into the development of the district.
