Engineering Technologies Canada Ltd. (ETC) is based in Stratford, Prince Edward Island, Canada. The firm was founded in 1996 specializing in decentralized approaches to wastewater management. The vision of ETC is:

"Sustainable and cost effective decentralized servicing for rural communities and developments".

ETC works on projects throughout the Maritime provinces. We specialize in the design of onsite and cluster sewage treatment systems which are more appropriate and affordable for rural areas than traditional "big city - big pipe" systems. We have designed sewage systems for a wide range of rural developments, including:

Q. Why are our services important to our clients?

Because the unique wastewater management needs of rural areas are better served by our alternative wastewater collection, treatment and land based effluent dispersal techniques, and most civil and municipal engineers are not well versed in these decentralized options.

Rural communities and private sector developers who need an on-site sewage system that will be reliable, affordable to install, and affordable to operate by part-time personnel.

ETC has consulted to the NB Department of Health and to the BC Ministry of Environment on technical and policy aspects of their guidelines and regulations.

ETC's Principal engineer, Kelly Galloway has delivered training courses and seminars to installers, regulators and engineers, and has been a speaker at industry conferences in eastern Canada, Ontario and the USA.
