About
Dalhousie Women in Sport is a society ratified by the Dalhousie Student Union, with a goal of providing a community for all women identifying and non-binary students with a passion for sport. We open up membership to anyone from varsity athletes, intramural players, sports fans, employees, volunteers, or simply people looking to make new friends and learn more about sports.
This society provides a supportive community and safe space where members have game watching nights, viewing parties, fundraise for various women's organizations, host guest speakers, show our support for female athletes at Dal, attend conferences, learn the rules of new sports, workout or play intramurals together, network and attend sporting events on and off-campus as a society.
