About
ISISE is a Research, Development & Innovation Unit formed in 2007 and involving the Structural Groups from the Civil Engineering Departments of the Universities of Coimbra and Minho.
In 2020, ISISE was evaluated by FCT – the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and graded EXCELLENT, the maximum rank in the field of knowledge.
ISISE has 30 PhD members; 100 PhD students; 6.5 M€ of competitive funding granted; 2 European Master Courses; International leadership.
