Odesa National University of Technology is one of the oldest higher educational institutions in Ukraine, the development of which is closely connected with the history of Odesa and its industrial infrastructure. The geographical position of Odesa has left a strong imprint on the structure of industry, characterized by a great variety of industries. Here there were various enterprises associated with the production of products for export and processing of imported raw materials.
Today Odesa National University of Technology is one of the largest universities in Ukraine, which includes
four research and educational institutes and four colleges.
The university is a full member of 13 permanent International organizations.
Up to 11 international conferences are held annually at the academy. Specialists not only from Ukraine but from many countries of the world take part in them. This testifies to the recognition of Odesa National University of Technology scientific schools.
