AMX operates Armenia's only stock exchange and also runs the Central Depository of Armenia.

Core services provided by Armenia Stock Exchange include:
- securities listing;
- providing electronic platform for trading in equities and debt instruments (both corporate and government), interbank credits (overnight), currency, repo agreements;
- market data and issuer information disclosure;
- market surveillance to ensure fair and transparent environment and protect investors'​ interests.

Core services provided by the Central Depository of Armenia include:
- clearing and settlement of transactions in securities;
- opening and maintenance of personal securities accounts;
- shareholders'​ registry keeping;
- registration of corporate events;
- pension system administration.
