Flamingo Tours GmbH was founded in 2013 in Düsseldorf and has become one of the leading German providers of holidays to Bulgaria. For some Bulgaria is still an unknown and unexplored holiday paradise, but we aim to change that.
With a mixed team of Bulgarians and Germans working in the company, we pull upon our own expert knowledge of where to go in Bulgaria and carefully select which hotels we feel match German standards. This combination is one of our unique strengths and ensures a higher degree of customer satisfaction, which after all is our key priority.
With a passion for creating the best possible holidays for families we know which hotels are great for families, who might want a kids club or animation team, and which hotels are better for couples. Our main focus is on All-inclusive summer holidays with sun, beach and sea.
Over the years we have developed a passion for Sports holidays and arrange several tennis camps and tournaments annually. We have access to some of Europe's best golf courses (Lighthouse Golf Resort, Black Sea Rama and Thracian Cliffs) and other sports facilities at i.e., European Resort of Sport, Albena. We are always open for new ideas and recently this turned into arranging a high-profile snooker tournament at Albena Resort in Bulgaria.
Ownership
Flamingo Tours GmbH is a subsidiary of the Bulgarian Albena JSCo - the largest Bulgarian tourism holding company. It owns or is part owner of more than 45 hotels, two airports as well as various agricultural and service companies. Among the highlights of the Bulgarian destinations is the popular Albena Resort complex.
Albena Resort
The resort is one of the largest seaside resorts in Europe and consists of 33 hotel complexes and villas, in categories ranging from 5 to 2 stars. The resort is found on a six-kilometer-long beach on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast next to the 200-hectare nature reserve "Baltata".
