About
Aris Leeuwarden komt al sinds 2004 uit in de Dutch Basketball League, de eredivisie van het basketbal in Nederland. Jaarlijks kwalificeert Aris zich voor de play-offs voor de landstitel en in het jaar 2013 speelde Aris om die titel maar werd het 2e. In het seizoen 2019-2020 behaalde Aris de finale van de Basketball Cup.
Basketbal leeft! Want dit seizoen (2020-2021) telt de Dutch Basketball League maar liefst twaalf teams en per seizoen 2021-2022 gaan de Belgische en Nederlandse competitie samen in de BeNeLeague (werktitel).
