The Cause Collective is a "for purpose" venture that aims to test an optimistic hypothesis: that ethical business can have a bigger impact when individuals (rather than businesses) choose the causes that matter most to them.

The Cause Collective is working with businesses and charities/not-for-profits, to explore ways to make customer-centric approach to ethical business a reality. As a first step The Cause Collective has built a digital donation clearing house that makes it easy for:
- businesses to support any charity that a customer chooses
- any not-for-profit to drive fundraising when it's supporters buy from participating businesses.

Our first pilot is Goodwill Bills - which focuses this technology on utility businesses, and currently enables Australians to fund their choice of charity when they choose to buy their energy from participating businesses.
