About

A purpose built south west facility to support the growth of regional food and drink businesses of all sizes. As a Food and Drink Development Centre it has the first regional purpose built food grade business units. As a Food and Drink Innovation Centre we have product development facilities with wrap around dedicated technical and product development support, based in the Food Enterprise Zone at Weston-super-Mare just off the M5 at Junction 21.

The centre consists of:

• Food grade business units that are available on short term leases
• Product Development facilities providing equipment to help businesses of all sizes, pilot and develop their products with technical support on hand. These include a trial and commercial grade kitchens, a bakery, that supports chocolate work, a dairy piloting room that allows for plant based work as well and a drinks development room.
• Business Centre with a range of meeting and training rooms, including display and exhibition space. Sector specific technical and product development support is now running from the centre covering the region.

FoodWorksSW is a North Somerset Council initiative. Managed and operated by Future Food Partnership CIC.
