About

The Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development was founded by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2013. With the belief in the power of education and that every child in Jordan and the Arab world deserves a quality education.

We aim to transform education in Jordan and the region by working with parents and focusing on the early childhood development of emergent literacy skills, engaging teachers and addressing Arabic literacy teaching and learning in schools, and advocating for the use of evidence in making decisions in and beyond the classroom.

أطلقت جلالة الملكة رانيا العبد الله مؤسسة الملكة رانيا عام ٢٠١٣ بهدف تحسين نتائج التعليم في الأردن والعالم العربي، إيمانًا من جلالتها بأن لكلّ طفل الحق في الحصول على تعليم جيد يمكّنه لاحقًا من النجاح في رحلته العلمية والمهنية.

وتأمل المؤسسة تحسين نتائج التعليم في الأردن والعالم العربي من خلال ثلاث محاور: العمل مع أولياء الأمور بالتركيز على تنمية مهارات القرائية منذ الطفولة المبكرة، والعمل مع المعلمين على معالجة آلية تعليم وتعلّم مهارات القرائية في المدارس، والعمل مع صناع القرار والدعوة إلى استخدام الأدلة في اتخاذ القرارات داخل الغرفة الصفية وخارجها.
