About

Zhangjiagng City is located in one of the most developed regions in China —Yangtze River Delta. This City covers an area of 999km² with a population of 1,500,000. In 2017, we achieved the GDP of RMB 259 billion, revenue of RMB 21 billion and import and export value of USD 33.4 billion, all of which ranks on the top of the cities of its kind. The City has a solid base of industry with as many as 13,000 enterprises and completed a sales income of RMB 495 billion in the year of 2017. Now it has developed major industries like metallurgy, equipment manufacturing, solar energy, new materials and so on.

The export-oriented economy of Zhangjiagang City develops rather rapidly and more than 1325 foreign invested enterprises have been set up with a total contracted investment of USD 20 billion. A variety of multinational companies and Global 500 has invested in the City, such as Chevron, Dow Chemical, Dow corning, Dupont from America, Wacker, ZF and Continental from Germany, Mitsubishi, Nachi, Jatco, NSK and Asahi from Japan, Posco and WIA from South Korea and Magna from Canada, to name just a few.
