Duke Kunshan University (DKU) is a Sino-American partnership of Duke University and Wuhan University to create a world-class liberal arts and research university. It is the first institute to offer a completely new and practical global approach to higher education that prepares highly motivated students for the crucial roles they will play in shaping tomorrow's world.

Duke Kunshan's primary mission is to enable students from around the world to lead purposeful and productive lives. It is located in close proximity to Shanghai and Suzhou, and is connected to both by high-speed rail and highways.
