Avon Pharmo Chem was established in Sri Lanka in 2002 as a company dealing with medical laboratory supplies and later it recognized the importance and the feasibility of entering into the supply of research laboratory requirements. Major universities and some of the reputed hospitals had been beginning molecular biology research and diagnostics. And the trend to the Molecular Biology field and the pace of its development insisted Avon Pharmo Chem to be a supplying partner.
By 2004, Avon Pharmo Chem commenced dealing with Molecular Biology Research requirements getting a good reputation in the field. Avon Pharmo Chem became a Limited liability company in 2005. Since then, Avon Pharmo Chem (Pvt) Ltd has been a officially registered supplier of laboratory equipments, chemicals, and consumables for almost all government scientific laboratories
