In addition, Knock up gene by Structure Editing (KSE) technology developed by KingAgroot has a great potential in animal and plant breeding via enhancing critical gene expression that may create new economically important traits, the application value of which is comparable with gene knock-down and base editing. This is a significant breakthrough in the area. KingAgroot Group has been using the KSE not only in crops but also in animals such as marine organisms (fish) etc. to generate valuable traits via knock-up key gene expression without using a donor DNA (KSE Patent No.: 2020111902796, 2021104868403.
