Beginning with the Windows NT 3.51 generation, METATECHNO has been involved in printer-driver development for laser printers. Thus we have significant experience in device-driver development for various devices such as, but not limited to, printers, faxes and digital cameras, corresponding to all subsequent Windows versions.

We are also ready to work toward the 64-bit environment and new Windows architecture such as Vista as we endeavor to provide flexible, highly optimized device-driver development.

• Embedded Software Development

METATECHNO has more than 20 years' experience in embedded software development implementing printer engine control, communication with PC, image handling and color-processing technologies into various printer controllers. Additionally, during the past several years our expertise has also expanded into the new-generation cellular phone OS porting arena. Product-independent architecture and Model Driven Architecture (MDA) with Unified Model Language (UML) are also applied to our development method, giving further testimony to our reputation as efficient developers of system enhancements.

Now that the ubiquitous era is near, the need and requirements for embedded software are rapidly exceeding their traditional limits. The solution consists of two products;

- BackStreet, JDF encoder for upper stream software such as MIS,

- FrontStreet, JDF decoder for devices and associated software.

Absorbing diverse device specific features and tracking ever enhancing JDF specification, PrintStreet releases your burdens from such JDF characteristics.
