Château de la Croix des Gardes was built in 1919 by Swiss industrialist, Paul Girod. A Florentine-style mansion sitting on the peak of the hill, surrounded by woodland and gardens, An integral part of the elegant ‘Quartier des Anglais', it is one of the few original large-scale private Châteaux on the Cote d'Azur.
