In 1969, 5 independent appliance dealers went on a fishing trip with the goal of working together to compete with national box stores, and realizing they were better together, the roots of BrandSource were formed. For 50 years, BrandSource has stood out as a member-owned not-for-profit organization with nationwide scope dedicated to using every resource available to keep our members successful and relevant in a quickly changing industry.

As a key member of the AVB Alliance, BrandSource can leverage over $20billion of retail business to offer state of the art exclusive business solutions to their members. These include financing, logistics, merchandising and marketing, which helps our members navigate the critical but overwhelming world of digital marketing and e-commerce. Since, like BrandSource, all of these solutions are not-for-profit entities, every dollar and ounce of effort is dedicated to our member's success
