Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) was incorporated in 1985 and employs more than 500 engineers, scientists, technicians, and support personnel. GTA focuses on geotechnical issues such as subsurface exploration, geotechnical and foundation engineering; groundwater resource and wastewater disposal issues; construction observation and materials testing; environmental issues from environmental assessments through management of remediation for contaminated water and soil; and natural resource services ranging from natural resource inventories to federal and state permit processing. Superior delivery of service and creative solutions complement our capabilities and collective commitment to our clients.

We provide these services for a wide range of projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest regions. Our 24 office locations include: Pittsburgh, Beaver Falls, York, Quakertown, Wilkes-Barre, PA; Northeastern, OH; Somerset and Little Ferry, NJ; Abingdon, Baltimore, Laurel, Frederick, and Waldorf, MD; Newark and Georgetown, DE; Richmond and Sterling, VA; Washington, DC; Nashville, TN; Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh, NC and Greenville, SC (GTA Associates, Inc.); and Orlando, FL.

Project types include: residential, retail, office, data centers, warehouse, industrial, energy, government, institutional, and recreational facilities. We also provide infrastructure design and improvement projects including roads, bridges, retaining walls, dams, landfills, and utilities.

Accreditations: AASHTO and Army Corps of Engineers accredited soil, aggregate, and concrete laboratory facilities.
