מטרת עמותת עור"ק היא להקים, ללוות ולאגד קבוצות ערבות הדדית של חסרי עורף משפחתי, אנשים ללא משענת המתמודדים לבדם עם העולם. עור"ק פועלת עם אנשים הנמצאים בסיכון גבוה לחיי תלות (קצבאות, דיור ציבורי ורווחה) ופותחת בפניהם דלת לחיי מסוגלות, עצמאות ובטחון חברתי, רגשי וכלכלי. בכך עור"ק מאפשרת צמצום פערים בר קיימא בחברה הישראלית, ומקדמת שוויון הזדמנויות ומוביליות חברתית.
לעמותת עור"ק מספר עקרונות יסוד:
• סולידריות הינה אבן יסוד לחברה אנושית משגשגת.
• קהילה הינה כלי ליצירת ערך, ויש לה יכולת מעבר לסך היכולות של החברים בה.
• כל אדם זקוק למשענת יציבה, אמינה וארוכת טווח בה הוא חבר בזכות ולא בחסד.
• רקע משותף חשוב לבניית אמון, שונות וגיוון חשובים ליצירה ולהתפתחות.

OREK - RECIPROCAL BACKING GROUPS AND COMMUNITIES LTD (NonProfit)

The family in Israel has two main roles: social and economic. Many populations in Israel do not have such a family backing, which is why they were often more severely affected during the Corona crisis. The condition of these populations worsened due to the lack of ability to lean during a crisis and the lack of social and economic safety nets. That is why we propose to establish joint communities and mutual assistance of members of these populations, communities that function as an alternative to the non-existing family backrest.
