Founded in 2002, Summit Investment Management LLC is a private investment firm headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

Summit invests in under-performing and distressed debt, corporate restructurings, and in complex opportunistic credits and joint ventures. Since its inception, Summit has invested more than $1.8 billion across a spectrum of industries and capital structures.

Typical investments range between $1 million and $75 million with flexibility to support larger transactions. Summit's existing portfolio includes commercial & industrial loans, asset-based loans, cash flow credits, equity investments and commercial real estate loans, which include a diverse portfolio consisting of hotels, manufacturing facilities, multi-family residences, warehouses, golf courses, shopping centers, farmland, self-storage facilities, colleges, as well as environmentally challenged properties and other esoteric asset classes.
