About
At the French-Japanese International School of Tokyo (EIFJ), we cultivate creative and ethical citizens through our official, comprehensive, and bilingual curriculum in classes of excellence. Our aim is to foster objective thinking and responsible behavior, empowering students to shape their own perspectives, respect others, set life goals, and achieve success.
Established in 2019, EIFJ encompasses kindergarten, elementary, middle school, and an international nursery, with a total capacity of 150 students. We are supported by AEFE towards accreditation, have been issued a Certificate of Compliance from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and are a candidate for International Baccalaureate PYP* accreditation.
Our school remains open during holidays, ensuring continuous education in classrooms with a favorable teacher-student ratio that promotes high-quality learning. Our team of certified teachers offers the following programs:
- Nursery Program (Ages 1-3): French, English, Japanese, or bi/trilingual
- KIndergarten, Elementary, & Middle School Programs:
1- Bilingual French-English, French-Japanese, or 100% French (French Ministry of Education curriculum)
2- Bilingual English-Japanese or 100% English (project and inquiry-based).
- After-School Activities for ages 3 to 18
- Language Courses for adults
