Okayama Prefectural University was founded in 1993 on the principal that students would be offered inter-disciplinary curricula on fields of study that are in demand and precisely correspond with the diverse changes happening in our society. Students and graduates of this university are trained to understand and contribute to the betterment of contemporary civic affairs such as the aging of society, the ever-transforming information technology evolution, and globalization.
