Prosys Group was founded in 1985 in France as a producer of coil winding and finishing equipment. Prosys Industries, a subsidiary of Prosys Group, opened it's doors in Plymouth, Michigan in 1994 to design, manufacture and service equipment for the North American market.

In their first decade of operations, Prosys was very well known for high volume fully automated equipment. Today, Prosys offers a wide range of equipment from stand alone winders, modular and flexible semi-automated cells to fully automated coil winders, finishing and assembly systems.
