Humann & Taconet established in 1920, has grown over the decades from a local custom broker agency into a national independent company, committed to providing port agency services to ship and cargo interests involved in tramp shipping operations.
Across its expanding network, Humann & Taconet provides a wide range of agency services. Amongst them, Humann & Taconet arranges crew changes, deliveries of spare parts and provisions as well as looking after all aspects of accounts and cost control.
Humann & Taconet has a solid reputation among its customers for integrity and professionalism.
Our partnership with local commercial schools dedicated to port services, allows us to reach and maintain a high standard of staff qualification through initial and permanent training.
As members of BIMCO, ITIC and FONABSA, our agencies receive regular updates on shipping regulations and practices.
With our dedicated team, we provide extensive coverage in all North African countries through our owned offices and by using our sub agents well known and monitored by our Hub agency colleagues.
