About
Nottingham Arts Theatre is situated in the heart of the trendy Hockley area in the City Centre. It is one of Nottingham's best kept secrets and is a real gem of a theatre.
The main auditorium seats 270 people and has a proscenium arch and an orchestra pit. We also have our own studio theatre, which seats 50 people. Our intimate bar opens an hour before each performance for you to enjoy a tea or coffee or a selection of alcoholic beverages. You can also enjoy an ice-cream and a variety of snacks.
A varied programme of shows is presented at our theatre by a large number of amateur and professional visiting companies.
Nottingham Arts Theatre is a community theatre for the people of the city and beyond, which offers "opportunities for all" in the performing arts.
