Give A Ruck

About

Give A Ruck was developed to help players, club members, volunteers and coaches feel more comfortable talking openly and honestly about their mental health and wellbeing. Inspired by players who had the strength and courage to speak out, we hope Give A Ruck will help to inspire many others to do the same.

Give A Ruck will act as a voice for clubs and players. Providing them with tools to raise awareness, sign-posting to relevant services and organising events to discuss mental health through a shared love of rugby.

Our mission:

"To bring the rugby community together, to reduce the stigma of mental health in the sport of rugby and to provide an opportunity for team mates to show that they will stand side-by-side both on and off the pitch. To provide workshops and events that allow the rugby community the opportunity to talk openly and honestly about their mental health. To ensure there is a mental health first aider at every rugby club in the country and to show our teams, that we #GiveARuck".

Please note that we are not a registered charity but a community organisation. All funds raised will be used to support our mission statement.
