ASAP was founded in 2011 by Mr. Richard Barnes, President and CEO, and Mr. Lynn Smith, Principal, to provide payrolling, recruiting and onboarding support for Duke Energy and Progress Energy's contract/contingent workforce.
ASAP is certified by the State of North Carolina's Office of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) as a Minority-Owned Business and a Disabled Veteran-Owned Business. ASAP is also a proud active member of the Carolinas-Virginia Minority Supplier Development Council (CVMSDC).
ASAP partners with our clients to provide onboarding, payroll, benefits and offboarding services, as well as recruiting for highly qualified Financial, IT, Engineers and Technicians seeking contract or temporary positions. In addition, we offer these workers a range of benefits – from payroll tax payments to optional insurance plans – that are typically not available to independent contractors.
