The Plumbing & Heating Merchant Index (PHMI), a brand of the BMF, is produced and managed by MRA Research.
Using data from GfK's ground-breaking Plumbing & Heating Merchant Panel, which analyses data from 75-80% of specialist P&H merchants' value sales throughout Great Britain, the report charts the performance of specialist plumbing & heating merchants from month to month.
The new PHMI report is the first to analyse point of sales data collated from a range of specialist plumbing & heating merchants with combined annual sales of £3bn.
PHMI trend data is indexed on the 12 months of 2019, and there is no overlap or double counting between the PHMI and the Builders Merchants Building Index (BMBI) sales data.
