Woodmace Concrete Structures is part of the Woodmace Group of companies. Principally Woodmace were and still are a groundworks contractor, and there will always be a need to provide formwork services within the substructure works. This expanded to taking on small concrete superstructure and this became a natural progression to provide a concrete superstructure works package, and has developed and grown into a separate company with a turnover of £7 million a year.

We are constantly striving to provide new technologies and methods of formwork and falsework, thereby increasing our efficiencies to deliver the concrete package. We have invested heavily over the last few years on our own formwork systems and have strived to ensure we keep the entire process in house.

From small substructure formwork projects to large multi-storey frame packages, typically are in the range from £10k to £3 million. We are based in Poole in Dorset and cover the majority of the South Coast. Our client base consists from the small local developers to the majority of the Main Contractors Group. We also provide consulting support and concrete and formwork solutions for high end bespoke architectural concrete buildings.

We are also proficient in specialist concrete structures for the non-destructive testing industry and Linac bunkers for the medical and R&D industries, as part of the extensive number of the services we offer. These types of structures are a controlled and measured operation due to magnetic and radiation shielding requirements of the finished project. We can provide consultation and data provision for thermal control measures to provide the designers with historic information and experience. This field of concrete structures has enabled Woodmace Concrete Structures to be the successful recipient of the Concrete Society Award (2013). We are also proud to be included in the London Stock Exchange Group report, "1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2017".
