The Kenya Climate Change Working Group (KCCWG), established in April 2009, is a collaborative effort among civil society organizations and donor partners in Kenya. It aims to address the challenges posed by climate change, both locally and globally. KCCWG recognizes the urgent need for collective action to confront climate change's impacts on livelihoods and the heightened vulnerability of Kenyan communities.

Key objectives include advocating for favorable national policies, fostering synergy among stakeholders, and implementing climate response actions. The group operates through a National Steering Committee (NSC), responsible for fundraising, strategic planning, and liaison with governmental and non-governmental entities. The NSC ensures coherence in project implementation, supported by a dedicated secretariat for monitoring and evaluation.

Through its diverse membership, KCCWG serves as a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and capacity building. By uniting civil society, donor partners, and governmental agencies, it seeks to strengthen efforts towards climate resilience and justice.
