Transcom Sharaf is a specialised Freight Forwarding Logistics service provider operating in the Southern Africa region. The Company provides logistics value and is cost driven towards global competitiveness and sustainability for its customers.

Transcom Sharaf was founded in 2003 in Lilongwe Malawi. The Company has been a market leader in the region with new innovations and solutions in a rapidly changing logistics environment. In late 2004 Transcom Sharaf opened offices in South Africa (Johannesburg) and Mozambique. (Tete and Beira). Then branches where opened in Durban in 2008 and Harare Zimbabwe in 2011.

In 2007 Transcom Sharaf entered into a partnership agreement with the Sharaf Shipping Group from Dubai. www.sharafs.ae With this partnership Transcom Sharaf invested in warehousing and container terminals in the port city of Beira. (Mozambique) The investment comprises of 27 000m2 of warehousing with state of the art facilities, a container terminal with 3 , 40 ton Sany & Kalmar reach stackers with capacity for 2,000 FEU's.
