About
C&R Group's history began in 1986, then operating as Barclays Advisory & Registrars Services (BARS) as an in-house department of the Barclays Bank of Kenya, to offer share registry services to the banks' shareholders, after its listing in Nairobi Securities Exchange the same year. In 1991, BARS was incorporated to offer similar services commercially to other listed companies and grew to become the largest Shares Registrar in Kenya. During a business review in 2006, the bank decided to dispose off some of its non-core businesses and BARS was sold as an on-going concern. The company was renamed C&R Group and remains the market leader in shares registrar's services, enjoying a market share of 34% of all listed companies trading at the Nairobi Stock Exchange.
With presence in Kenya and Uganda, C&R Group has been a success story with divisions in Shares Registry, Document Management, and Business Processing Outsourcing. The divisions under the group umbrella are;-
-C&R Document Management Solutions
-C&R Share Registrars
-C&R Company Secretarial Services
With substantial investment in technology, infrastructure and expertise, the company is committed to its reputation for efficiency, innovation and enterprise.
