Over thirty years ago, a question was posed ; "Does healthcare need to be expensive?", "Could we make healthcare affordable to every Motswana?" This is the start of BPOMAS, designed around affordability, while offering and covering all the member's needs for healthcare services.

As Botswana's Number 1 Medical Aid Provider, we remain committed to ensuring the members involvement in all decision making as per the mandate of the fund. Our commitment is enshrined in our constitution for the exclusive benefit of the member. To that end, all our products and services are designed with the members input, interests and authority. No decision has ever been made outside of the member's involvement, that's why we are number 1, because we make you the member number 1 in all our decision making.

Our programmes, incentives, and scheme are designed to offer comprehensive healthcare to the member without the related financial stress. We continue to innovate the fund to include and not limited to, health insurance, investments and savings products and services .

The future of BPOMAS is integrally associated with the value we generate for the members, and we are engaged in a diversification drive that will see a launch of a myriad of products and services geared to growing the fund and membership.
