Eswatini Health Laboratory Services (EHLS)

About

The EHLS is a health laboratory network providing specialized services for clinical and pathological testing sites for public hospitals and clinics. The EHLS strives to achieve accreditation and licensure to meet both National and International Standards.

CLINICAL LABORATORY
As part of the dianostic service of Hospital Laboratories and Health Centre Laboratories; offer tests relevant to medicine and/or disease surveillance to physicians, health care providers, epidemilogists for the benefit of the patient and population

NATIONAL TB REFERENCE LABORATORY
The NTRL provides routine laboratory services for diagnosis of TB, supervises other laboratories within the TB laboratory network, supports research studies, and carries out validations and verifications of new laboratory techniques before implementation.

PATHOLOGY LABORATORY
The Anotomical Pathology Laboratory is mandated to provide histopathology and cytopathology diagnostic services to the people of The Kingdom of Eswatini

NATIONAL MOLECULAR REFERENCE LABORATORY
This lab provides viral load services to facilities in the Hhohho region and selected sites in the Manzini region as well as EID services to all facilities in the kingdom

PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH LABORATORY
Under this division the EHLS supports public health-related reseach,equipment and test method valiadtion/evaluation and clinical trials
