أطلقت هيئة الطرق والمواصلات في يوليو من عام 2007 في دبي نظام البوابات الرقمية الكامل في دبي، والذي يعرف باسم سالك. ويعد نظام رسوم يتألف من 8 بوابات منتشرة في مواقع مختلفة حول دبي.
وفي عام 2022 تمّ إطلاق شركة "سالك" كشركة مساهمة عامة، تتولى هيئة الطرق والمواصلات في دبي كل أو بعض اختصاصاتها التي تُعنى بتشغيل وإدارة نظام التعرفة المرورية وفقاً للقانون (12) لسنة 2022 بتأسيس شركة "سالك" "ش.م.ع"
وتم إطلاقه كإحدى خدمات هيئة النقل والمواصلات في إمارة دبي بهدف تنظيم العملية المرورية لسكان وزوار الإمارة على حد سواء. تتوزع بوابات سالك على 8 مواقع، وهي: البرشاء، القرهود، مطار آل مكتوم الدولي، منطقة الممزر الجنوبية والشمالية، الصفا، نفق المطار، وجبل علي.
In July 2007, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) launched a fully electronic toll gate system in Dubai, known as Salik.It is a toll
system consisting of 8 gates located in different locations around Dubai.
In 2022, Salik was launched as a public joint stock company. RTA assumes all or some of its competencies that are concerned with operating and managing the traffic toll system in accordance with Law (12) of 2022, establishing "Salik" as a Public Joint Stock Company (PJSC).
It was launched as one of RTA's services in Dubai, in the aim of regulating traffic congestion for residents and visitors alike. Salik seeks to save drivers some time, as they move freely around the
city.
The toll gates are distributed over 8 locations:
Al Barsha, Al Garhoud, Al Maktoum International Airport, Al Mamzar South and North, Al Safa, Airport Tunnel and Jebel Ali.
