Queen's Trading Committee strives to educate students about the finance industry, while fostering a fundamental interest in the field of investing. Rebranded in 2017 as the successor to Queen's Commerce Trading Competition, QTC continues the legacy as Queen's premier student-run organization committed to financial education.

Recognizing that there are students from across all faculties with a passion for finance, our mission is to provide learning opportunities to anyone interested in taking that next step to succeed in the competitive finance landscape. In doing so, we aim to provide a forum for Queen's brightest minds to connect with likeminded peers and industry leaders.

Through hosting unique internal and external education initiatives, including speaker events and tutorials, QTC also provides the skills and knowledge needed for students to enter the field of finance and gain a better understanding of how to get involved in the equities and derivatives markets.

The QTC Executive Team is comprised of members with hands-on experience in the industry, ranging from Investment Banking to Accounting. We encourage you to stay connected throughout the year for more information on how to participate in our growing committee!
