Rockfield Technologies Australia is a specialist high technology company with core skills in advanced computational modelling, sensor technologies, data analytics and engineering design solutions. Right from our establishment in 2000, Rockfield has been assisting clients from across the industrial sectors in better understanding and managing the risk profile of critical assets in terms of capacity utilisation, structural integrity, remnant life and Standard's compliance. Given that we live in a time of austerity, we have a deep appreciation of industry challenges with managing existing asset base in terms of age, capacity, condition, safety, compliance and capital required for replacement. Our approach is to augment contemporary designs based on engineering codes with advanced computational models validated through field data. The latter relies on sensors and exploits big data analytics. This takes engineering codes to a new level and provides our clients with optimal asset capacity and live feedback on asset performance through decision support tools. Clients considering life extension of assets must mitigate risk and this requires access to data emanating from state-of-the-art engineering models, sensors, video streams, etc. At Rockfield we can configure this data to suit client needs and provide desktop graphics which can be linked through cloud computing to mobile devices.
